Odisha: Odia film 'Matric Fail', 'IDIOT' hit the theatres on 12th June

Raja being the gala time for film producers, viewers seems ready to throng cinema halls on the occasion.. Considering the cash-in period, Raja has always been a favourite for filmmakers as going to theatres has caught up as one of the traditions of celebrating the festival.
Earlier on 10th June, 2012 Raja Jhia Sathe Heigala Bhaba was released. Matric Fail and IDIOT has hit the theatres on 12th, june, 2012. Raja Jhia Sathe Heigala Bhaba is a musical romance starring Arindam and Archita in lead.

The story of the film is interesting love saga of a village naïve and rich urban girl. Though lyrics by Srikant Goutam are good, the tunes of Premananda have less charm, IDIOT is an Ashok Pati movie which is product of Green India Media & Entertainment Pvt Ltd. This new flick of Ashok Pati has cast of Babushaan and Riya in the lead. Babushaan last film with Ashok Pati “Loafer” was a rocking hit which was also a product of Green India.. But all eyes are on the super hit team of Balunga Toka.
Yes Balunga toka team has created an unbelievable rage among mass with their new movie ‘Matric Fail’. The name itself has enough masala for the rage. It is the latest venture of Vidisha craft featuring the hit Ollywood pair Anubhav and Barsha.

Boat capsizes Jamadarpali Ghat near Hirakud dam in Odisha, 29 killed, Rahul Gandhi is on a two-day tour of Odisha and will visit the accident site.

W ith the recovery of more bodies, the toll in the boat mishap in Hirakud reservoir in Sambalpur district, Odisha, on Monday rose to 29. "At least 29 bodies have so far been recovered and three more are still missing," said Special Relief Commissioner P K Mohapatra in Bhubaneswar. The search team had on Sunday rescued nearly 80 people and fished out 11 bodies from the water. The incident took place on Sunday when around 120 people from the Lion’s Club of Sambalpur, Hirakud and Bargarh, were returning after going to other side of the reservoir for a picnic. Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi visited the site of accident in Hirakud reservoir and conducted an aerial survey of the area. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who is in New Delhi, has asked Revenue and Disaster Minister S D N Patro and Finance Minister Prasanna Acharya to visit the spot.
